La Torre

At the foot of cliff on top of which the church of Sassoguidano rises up, La Torre is one of the best preserved rural complexes in the area. During the 18th century it was arranged around a courtyard, but some buildings already existed before, and probably included the tower (“torre”) which gave the complex its name. A portico connects a small oratory with the buildings used for living and working.
