I Paesaggi del Secchia Visitor Center

The Visitor Center is located within the buildings of the ancient Corte Ospitale, located north of the center of Rubiera (RE), the sixteenth-century complex built for the rest and refreshment of wayfarers and pilgrims near the ford of the river Secchia.

The educational and informative setting sees the placement of some display elements made of wooden furniture dedicated to the Secchia landscapes, the history of the river and its transformations over the centuries, its ecological and environmental characteristics, and management issues such as safety and water use.
The display elements are composed of "benches" with texts and images and "touch screens" with related thematic units consisting of video supports. Each bank is dedicated to a theme concerning the river and protected areas.
